da bass


Some people have this misconception that bass strings don't break. False.
Wish I had a spare $200+ to keep an extra set of bass strings around.

    Playing electric bass in bands over the years, I've had a few break, mostly at very awkward times...
    Much different than stand up double bass tho...

    This one broke right in the middle of a Counselor Concert. The strings are atleast 8 years old, and on my old high schools bass. So its no worry of mine, only that I got to finish the song minus the string. And it was right in the middle of Orange Blossom Special, once it gets cookin'.
